Ballari, Apr 15: The mother of Jyoti Kattimani residing in Hagaribommanahalli town in the district has been bedridden since the last two years due to paralysis stroke. Her father died 15 days back due to ill health. Having no income of her own, she had created a TikTok video wherein she is seen expressing her helplessness to do anything for her mother.
Local MLA Bheema Naik, noticed the video. He asked tahsildar, Ashappa Pujari, to visit the girl's house and assess the situation. The mother of the girl was thereafter admitted into the hospital and treated. The MLA also provided a month's requirement of things needed by the family.
It is gathered that minister, Anand Singh, too has come forward to help the girl in this difficult situation.
