Bengaluru: Employees of leading departments asked to work from April 16

Bengaluru, Apr 16: The government has issued a circular, asking employees working for important government departments to report for work today and continue to work thereafter.

State chief secretary T M Vijay Bhaskar, has issued this order. Officers and staff of all groups of people working for 14 critical departments relating to essential services have been asked to work from today.

These departments are health, medical, internal administration, revenue, rural development, urban development, food and civil supplies, fisheries, department of personnel and administrative reforms, information, transport, energy, treasury, animal husbandry, and forest.

Likewise, group A officers of corporations, boards, and authorities have to report for work today. Differently abled and blind employees are exempted from this order, the circular said.
