Kundapur: Incentive amount distributed among Asha workers

Kundapur, April 16: An amount of Rs 3,000 each was disbursed among Asha workers of Kumbhasi Primary Health Center who visited houses and conducted inspections for coronavirus for a very low honorarium. The programme was held jointly with donors under the leadership of social activist Ganesh Putran and Gopadi gram panchayat president Saraswati G Putran.

Around 19 Asha workers under Kumbhasi Primary Health Center limits covering Kumbhasi, Gopadi, Beejadi and Thekkatte received the amount. Three workers in Gopadi were also presented Rs 3,000 each.

“Donors B N Narasimha Bengaluru, Vittala Poojary, Sairam, Florine, Jagadish Mogaveera and Ram Ganesh helped to present the incentive combining Rs 10,000 honorarium paid by the government to Gopadi gram panchayat president and vice president,” said Ganesh Putran.
