Bantwal, Apr 16: Bantwal SI Avinash H Gowda issued legal notices to four shops including a medical shop in Bantwal town police station limits on charges of conducting business without maintaining necessary social distance on Thursday, April 16.

Police personnel have decided to take strict action as per rules imposed by the government at the centre. They have requested every shopkeeper to follow government’s directions to ensure social distance while conducting business. They have warned of legal action if groups of people are found in shops or banks.

Vitla station SI Vinod Reddy also had issued similar notices to two vegetable shops in Vittal. Police personnel have got a shop closed today for not maintaining the distance.
