Bantwal: Complaint about profane remarks about Prophet Muhammad Mustafa, wife

Bantwal, Apr 17: On behalf of Bantwal JD(S) minority division, a complaint has been fled in the town police station here. The complaint is about alleged profane comments about Prophet Muhammad Mustafa and his wife.

The complaint was filed by Bantwal unit general secretary of JD(S) minority division. He has named the defendants as Manjunath Nayak and admins of a WhatsApp group. It is said that in a WhatsApp group titled 'Current Affairs', Manjunath Nayak had used utterly disgraceful words about Prophet Muhammad Mustafa and his wife. He said that group admin Vivek Shetty, had supported this act.

The complaint states that blasphemous remarks against the Prophet have hurt the Muslim community and urged the police to initiate legal action against those who created this post and also all the admins of the said group.
