Mangaluru: Vietnamese citizens booked for indecent behaviour

Mangaluru, Apr 18: Two out of five Vietnamese citizens who are in the city in connection with business, have been booked for indecent behaviour. Apart from registering a case against them, five persons including two women accompanying them have been kept under quarantine.

Five persons including two girls had arrived in the city by air in March this year in connection with areca nut trade. They were residing in a rented apartment and kept under observation.

After completing the 14-day quarantine period, it is said, that they were behaving rudely in the apartment's complex. Some residents of the complex had complained against them to the police. Kadri police who visited the spot conducted verification.

A case against two of them was registered at Kadri police station. All the five have been admitted into ESI hospital for quarantine.
