Mangaluru: Threat call from abroad - Complaint filed

Mangaluru, Apr 22: A complaint relating to receiving telephonic calls threatening to murder Muneer, an entrepreneur residing near Dargagh Road at Karnad, Mulky, has been filed in Mulky police station. Muneer has provided the names of the accused as Taufiq Karnad, Aseem, Nissar Karnad and Siddique Uchila.

One among them, Taufiq had called Muneer by using the internet, telling that his life will not be spared. "He then got another person from abroad to make a call in Hindi to my son, Hiyaz. He told Hiyaz that the gang will kill our relatives, Abdul Latif Moodbidri and Samir Kaup," Muneer said.

Further, he stated that the accused then came near his house the same night, and used foul language against him. Based on Muneer's statement, a complaint was registered in Mulky station.
