Bengaluru, Apr 24: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, threatened to undertake protest from Friday if the two arrested in connection with Padaryanapura disturbances, who have tested coronavirus-positive, are not shifted out of Ramanagara jail immediately. He said he has information that test reports of these two persons have confirmed that they are infected.

In a statement, Kumaraswamy said that he had drawn the attention of the government to this problem in the past and accused the government of not attaching enough importance to his statement then. "We have paid the price for this negligence. Coronavirus infection has now entered Ramanagara district for the first time. We have information that seven to eight persons who were with the two persons referred above have been taken away for quarantining them," he stated.
