Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa celebrates Basava Jayanti

Bengaluru, Apr 26: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa garlanded the statue of social reformer Basaveshwara near Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Sunday.



He participated in the Basava Jayanti celebrations organized by the Basava Samiti. Murughamutt Pontiff, Dr Shivamurthy Muruga Sharana, deputy chief minister Govinda Karjol, home minister Basavaraj Bommai, KPCC president D K Shivakumar and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike mayor Goutam Kumar participated in the function.
