Byndoor, May 18: D K Shivakumar Fans Club functioning under the directions of former MLA K Gopal Poojary, zilla panchayat former president S Raju Poojary, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) member Prakashchandra Shetty, as well as block Congress president S Madan Kumar, has undertaken the initiative to provide free food to people arriving in the district from other states including Mumbai.
The programme was inaugurated by KPCC member S Prakashchandra Shetty, at Shiroor near here on Sunday May 17.
Block Congress general secretary K Mohan Poojary, Vaudeva Poojary, youth Congress president Shekhar Poojary Uppunda, president of party's minority unit Tabrez Nagur, Hassan Mavad and Prince Toodalli Keertan Uppunda were present.
