Puttur: Auto rickshaw overturns - Passenger loses life

Puttur, Jun 11: A person who had suffered grievous injuries after an auto-rickshaw in which he was travelling met with an accident, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, June 10. The accident had happened at Kaniyar in Keyyur village.

The three-wheeler had overturned on Keyyur - Devinagara Kaniyar road. Umesh Tyagarajanagar and auto driver Sathish, who were injured, were provided initial treatment in a private hospital at Puttur and then admitted into KMC Hospital, Mangaluru. However, Umesh lost his battle for life on Wednesday.

Umesh was a resident of Tyagarajanagar in Kedambady and was the president of Dr Ambedkar Tatwa Rakshana Vedike, Puttur.
