Bengaluru, Jun 13: On one end Covid-19 pandemic is reaching its peak in the state, while now the additional scare of contagious diseases is adding on the other end due to the onset of monsoon.
On Friday, seven people died due to coronavirus pandemic and the number of infected persons has risen to 6,516. Already three people died due to H1N1 disease. Health department has warned that Chikungunya, Malaria and brain fever are also going to rise if public does not take proper precautions.
As large number of beds are reserved for Covid-19 patients, patients suffering from other diseases are not getting beds and treatment in hospitals. So far Dengue, Chikungunya, Malaria and Japanese Encephalitis cases have reported in the state so far.
Precautions should be taken by public:
*Do not neglect any kind of fever
*Take precautions to avoid mosquito bite
*Drink clean and boiled water
*Close the lids of tank and water storage units tightly
*Consume balanced food to increase immunity
*Always use mask or handkerchief while coughing or sneezing
*Take bath immediately after coming home from outside
