Karkala, Jun 22: In a tragic incident that occurred at Mundlia near here, a man was electrocuted while working in a cold drinks manufacturing plant.
The deceased is identified as Ratna Verma Jain (48).
It is said that he got electrocuted while he was putting off the generator. He collapsed on the spot and breathed his last.
Ratna Verma Jain was noted for his achievements in the traditional sport of Kambala in the district of Dakshina Kannada.
