Byndoor, Jul 15: In an accident which happened at Kelapete Circle of Shirur near here, a motorbike knocked down a pedestrian, inflicting serious injuries to him. The pedestrian in question, Bawa B M Iqbal, was admitted into a hospital with grave injuries, and he succumbed to injuries at the hospital sometime later, without responding to treatment.
The motorbike rider was moving towards Shirur market from Byndoor when this accident happened. The bike rider escaped with minor injuries.
A case about this accident was filed in Byndoor police station.
