Bengaluru: Armed with knife, Taali rowdy slices unwilling girl's throat

Bengaluru, Jul 15: A rowdy in the city holding a knife in one hand and a Taali in the other, approached a girl with a demand to marry him. He pestered her to marry him and then sliced her throat resulting in her murder when she remained adamant at not meeting his demand.

This macabre incident happened at Girinagar here. The person who killed the girl happens to be Abhigowda, whose rowdy sheet is maintained at Rajajinagar police station. After killing the girl, Abhigowda surrendered to the Rajajinagar police.

Abhigowda, living in Prakash Nagar here, was constantly chasing the 19-year-old girl living in the same area, with a request to be his life partner. The girl, knowing that he was a rowdy, just spoke to him, as she could not muster enough courage to outright reject him. Abhigowda got encouraged with the belief that she was in love with him. He therefore started to pressurise her to marry him.

On Monday, Abhigowda invited the lady to come near St Peters School at Dwarakanagar in Girinagar. He then led her to the residence of his friend nearby. With a knife in one hand and Taali in the other threatening her to marry him. When the girl stood her ground and refused to marry him, he was angry and sliced her throat with the knife, it is said.

    The age of the girl mentioned wrongly , she is a mino,r age around 16 only.This case will be sensitive. If there have any honest officers in indian government please kill him through our government act and give correct judgment for this case.
