Udupi: Holy clay from Sri Krishna Math to join Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya

Udupi, Jul 20: A dream of several Hindus all over the world, the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be a reality soon. The holy clay from Sri Krishna Math, Udupi is waiting to join the ground where the Ram Mandir is going to be built.

Vishva Hindu Parishad has decided to combine clay from hundreds of rivers and several holy temples in the country. Paryaya Adamaru Matha head Ishapriya Theertha Sripada handed over Gandha Prasada of Krishna deity, lit the Mangalarati and prayed that the construction work proceeds without obstacles and that there may be greater good in the world while handing over the clay to the heads of Udupi VHP on Monday.



VHP district president P Vishnumoorthi Acharya, secretary Dinesh Mendon, Bajrang Dal zonal co-convener Sunil K R, manager of the Math Govindaraj, Vidwan Ramanatha Acharya, Vasudev Bhat Perampalli and others were present.

The activists, who received the clay from the priests, took a procession reciting prayers at Car Street and proceeded to Madanantheshwar temple. He added Prasada to it and offered prayer with the priest. They later filled the clay in a brass pot.

The clay is being collected from several temples and rivers besides Udupi. Prime Minister Modi will be offering it at the spot of temple construction on August 5 during the bhoomi pooja.

A press release has stated that Pejavar Shree will not be attending the programme in Ayodhya on August 5 due to Chaturmasya vow.
