Udupi, Jul 21: An international photography competition was held in Belgrade, Siberia recently. Udupi based famous photographer Focus Raghu received FIAP GOLD international award in journalism division for his photo of rural children playing in slush fields. Photographs from several countries were part of the competition. This is the 24th international award for Focus Raghu.
Raghu hails from an area of village forests and captured the picture of Janapada beauty of the rural area around him. Nikon organization recognizing his achievements appointed him as Nikon Influencer for Karnataka state and honoured village talent. He is the student of famous photographer Gurudat, also a resident of Udupi.
