Udupi SP’s office closed for sanitization after cop tests corona-positive

Udupi, Jul 21: Udupi district office of police superintendent was closed for the second time for sanitization. The sanitization work is being undertaken after a staff of the DSP’s office in Bannanje tested positive.

All his primary and secondary contacts are being examined and directed for home quarantine. Only emergency control room functions at present.

“The office is being sanitized inside and outside every week upon directions from the government,” said ASP Kumarchandra.


SP Vishnuvardhan

“A staff who tested positive today. As a precautionary measure and protocol, we are sanitizing the office. The office will be functional with minimum essential staff as usual,” said SP Vishnuvardhan.
