Moodbidri: Kannada Movie ‘Artha’ Bags ‘Best Film Award’ at Mini Film Fest

‘Artha’, Kannada film by B Suresh of Bangalore, bagged the ‘Best Film Award’ and ‘Dhanya’ by Prakash Kabettu was adjudged the second best film in the 6th Karnataka Mini Film Fest currently underway at Navami Theater.

Borgalgudde Manjunath, director of documentary film ‘Arasarannu Arasutta’, was selected for the ‘Navodita Director’s Award’ and Prakash Kabettu, short film producer, will be awarded with ‘Navodita Producer’s Award’.
 

Yuvapratibha Vedike and Shree College have organized this three-day fest.
 
‘Baduku’, a film by Harish Aadoor, was selected for special recognition.
 
Ravindra Rai, president, Karnataka Computer Academy, Mangalore, and Chandrahas Shetty, president, Kodialbail Lions Club, Mangalore, will present the awards here on Thursday March 11.
