Mangaluru, Aug 5: In an accident which happened at Agari Cross near Kuppepadavu Kadakkeri on Tuesday August 4, a motorbike and Bolero jeep were involved in head-on collision. A person lost his life in this accident.
The man who lost his life was Sadashiva Saphaliga (45), a resident of Kuppepadavu. He was seated in the pillion of the motorbike that was being ridden by Saphaliga's friend.
Saphaliga was going to his house at Kalladi from Kuppepadavu when the bike and Bolero collided with each other. Sadashiva who was in the back seat, was tossed to the road due to the impact of the accident. He suffered serious injuries, and was being taken to a private hospital here for treatment when he breathed his last.
A case about the accident was registered at Bajpe police station.
