Udupi, Aug 5: Member of Teertha Kshetra Trust of Ram Mandir, Pejavar seer Vishwaprasanna Teertha Sripada who could not go to Ayodhya for the foundation laying of Sri Ram Mandir offered prayers here that the temple construction may proceed smoothly.
The prayers were offered at the math in the vicinity of Neelavar Goshale. Several rituals were held on the occasion.
Cattle were fed fodder. The event was celebrated by bursting crackers. The seer later enjoyed watching the programme of Ayodhya through Doordarshan. Devotees were served meals.
