Udupi, Sep 1: Kuvempu University, Shivamogga awarded a PhD to Vitla, Veerakambha resident, Ishwarachandra for his thesis about research on Yakshagana.
He had written the thesis under the guidance of the journalism department co=professor Dr Sathish Kumar Adinje. Ishwarchandra who is residing in Manipal at present is the son of Bettasaravu Ganapathi Bhat and Parameshwari.
