Udupi: Three men examined by doctor for alleged drug abuse, arrested

Udupi, Sep 1: Three men were arrested for allegedly consuming ganja and were produced before the professor and head of KMC forensic department for examination on Tuesday, September 1. The doctor later confirmed that they had indeed consumed the drug, following which cases were registered against them.

Ashrith Shetty (23), resident of Bantwal Road, Moodbidri arrested near Syndicate Circle, Manipal on August 28 examined by the doctor on Sep 1. Case under serial No. 135/2020 section 27 (b) NDPS Act registered in Manipal police station.

Aron Seth (22) resident of Jayanagar, Bengaluru arrested near Syndicate circle, Manipal on August 28 at 1 pm examined by the doctor on Sep 1. Case under serial No. 136/2020 section 27(b) NDPS Act registered in Manipal police station.

Dilin Tauro (29), Suterpet, Valencia, Mangaluru arrested near Syndicate Circle, Manipal on August 28 at 1 pm examined by the doctor on Sep 1. Case under serial No. 137/2020 section 27 (b), NDPS Act registered in Manipal police station.
