Mangaluru: Biruver Kudla donates over Rs 1.7 crore to sick

Mangaluru, Dec 1: Biruver Kudla central committee in Kudroli Gokarnanatheshwara temple donated over Rs 1.7 crore to ailing families over the last six years.

Naguri Majal resident, Lokesh has a waist fracture and has lost a leg. Rs 50 thousand was donated to him.

Bajal resident, Purandara suffers from kidney failure and has lost his legs. Rs 50 thousand was handed over to him.



Padavu, in front of Pilikula, resident Badruddin suffers from kidney failure. Buruver Kudla donated Rs 50 thousand to him.

Similarly, cheques worth Rs 1.5 lac were handed over to three sick families by Mangaluru north MLA Dr Bharath Shetty Y, Mangaluru south MLA Vedavyas Kamath and corporation’s Diwaker Pandeshwar, in the presence of the founder of Biruver Kudla, Udaya Poojary Ballal Bagh and president Rakesh Poojary.

Temple management committee president, H S Sairam, Mooda president, Ravi Shanker Mijar, Ravindra Nikam, Lathish Balalbagh, Baba Alankar, Sooraj Kalya, Likhit Kotian, Lohith Gatti, Renith Raj Ashoknagar, Manoj Shetty, Rakesh Salian, Amith Raj, Ram Ekkoor, Vazi Padavinangady, Ashraf Ali Karkala, Dinil Ballalbagh, Suresh Ballalbagh, Roshan Ballalbagh, Kishore Babu Kodikal, Pranesh Bangera, Kiran Urva, Yashwin Poojary, Rakshith Mulki and others were present.
