Mangaluru: Guardian Angel Church Angelore celebrates Parish Day

Mangaluru, Feb 2: Guardian Angel church Angelore under the leadership of the youth and cultural committee recently organized parish day 2021.

The parish children choir invoked God’s blessings through a prayer song. Fr William Menezes was the president of the programme and Sr Charlotte Sequeira, the provincial superior of St Anne's Providence Convent was the chief guest.

Assistant parish priest, Fr Flavian Lobo, Noel Pinto, vice-president of the parish pastoral parishad, Lolina D’Souza, secretary, and Maxim D’Souza, the president of the youth and cultural committee were present on the dais and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.



Nine achievers of the parish in different fields were felicitated by the parish priest, followed by a cultural programme which included an action song presented by the nuns of all the five convents, a dance by the men of Catholic Sabha, a song by the youth and dance by the ladies association. The programme concluded with a drama performed by the artistes of Angelore parish, written by late J B D'Souza and trained by Jerome Moras.

The parishioners were present in a large number.
