Kripesh and Sharath Lal

Sharat Lal and Kripesh were murdered on the night of February 17, 2019 at Periya Kalyot. They were hacked to death with lethal weapons by a gang. After committing the act, it is alleged that the four accused stayed in the office of CPM and others at a house at Vellatholi as per the report given by the crime branch, which investigated the case earlier.

High court had given a CBI inquiry into the case long back. However, the implementation of the order got delayed as the Kerala government had submitted an appeal in this connection. As the Supreme Court quashed the appeal of the Kerala government a month ago, CBI intensified its investigation.
