Udupi, Aug 4: The services on Konkan railway route has restarted on Wednesday August 4 after several days of disruption due to damage to the tracks and route owing to heavy rain in the coastal region.
All the railway services on the route will be functional from Wednesday, but with a likely delay, informed sources from the railways. It can be recalled here that the train services on the route were disrupted since July 24 owing to mud slide on the tracks near Ratnagiri of Maharashtra.
Matsyagandha Express was cancelled from teh day, while few others took a deviation towards Madgaon - Londa. An arrangement to travel on the bus was also made from Adavali near Ratnagiri to help passengers traveling towards Mumbai.
