Kundapur, Aug 13: B Shekar, regional officer for education, Byndoor was recently feliciated for his contribution in the field.

The citizens forum held the programme at Shankarakala Mandira. Litterateur Uppunda Chandrashekhar Holla presided.

Quoting Bheeshma in epic Mahabharatha Holla pointed out that in difference to the ordinary report degrading heroes, destroying truth and highlighting their self-interest, bringing out their own downfall in the eyes of the enlightened citizens, Holla said that such tendencies on their part would not last long and
the latter would soon realize their folly. Shekhar has been an exception to this bad trend. He has been faithful and officer dedicated to discipline, professional code of conduct and human values.

The honorable couples were felicitated by taluk panchayat former president and leader of panchayat movement Pratapchandra Shetty, S Janardan, the retired lecturer, Chandrashekher, the regional education officer, Gopal Shetty, convenor, citizens forum were present on the dias.
