Kasargod, Aug 16: On the eve of Ramzan, a one-day religious lecture programme was held at Rafa Auditorium, Kunjuthur, on Sunday August 15.
Ibrahim Pudimonu welcomed the gathering while Udupi Kazi P M Ibrahim Musliyar inaugurated the programme. Sayuktha Jamath president Sayyed Athavulla Thangal presided over the function
Mangalore Kazi Thwaka Ahamad Musliyar preached on the topic ‘Religious Awareness in Muslim Community’ where he explained the importance of religious awareness in an era where the Muslim community is attracted to Western culture.
“The Muslim community has a very rich culture and its religious principles are loved worldwide. So, we should never forget the religious practices”, he added.
Various Jamath Khateeb of Manjeshwar Samyukta Jamath along with hundreds of Muslims participated in the programme.
