Mumbai: Rajan S Sriyan passes away

Mumbai, May 25: Rajan S Siryan (54), son of former president of the city’s Devadiga Sangha, S K Sriyan passed away after a massive heart attack in Bengaluru on Monday evening.

Rajan hailing from Kinnimulki, Udupi resided at Cherrys City of Joy apartment, Mulund in a joint family. He had recently started working in a private company in Bengaluru.

He was one of the twin children and is survived by a son, a daughter, parents, two brothers, two sisters and a large number of friends and relatives. His last rites were performed in Bengaluru on Monday night itself due to Covid regulations.

Karnataka former chief minister M Veerappa Moily, Ekanatheshwari Trust Barkur president Annayya Sherigar, trustee member Narayana M Devadiga Dubai, former president Dharmapal U Devadiga, Devadiga Sangha Udupi president Rathnaker Devadiga, office bearers and members of local groups and associations condoled his death.
