Brahmavar, Jun 9: N Seetharam Shetty (67), a retired employee of Syndicate Bank, was killed in an accident which happened near Heroor here on the evening of Monday June 7.
Shetty was walking by the side of the road when a Honda Activa vehicle that was moving at considerable speed hit him. Shetty suffered serious injuries and was admitted into a hospital at Manipal. He was treated there but without responding to efforts made to save his life, he breathed his last on Tuesday.
The victim is survived by wife and two sons. A case of accidental death in this respect has been registered in Brahmavar police station.
