Bantwal, Jun 10: Operation against vehicles moving about unnecessarily, here, is intensified.

Police personnel under the leadership of Bantwal town police inspector Cheluvaraj and SI Avinash confiscated more than 50 vehicles and warned the drivers.

The strict lockdown ordered by the deputy commissioner for a week is being enforced everywhere.

Vehicles are being inspected at Vitla, Punjalkatte, Bantwal rural, Bantwal town and Bantwal traffic police station limits through checkposts.
