London, Sep 6 (IANS): Singer Cheryl, who has just divorced cheating husband, British footballer Ashley Cole, admits she feels betrayed.
"I feel betrayed. Yes, definitely I do, but I've got to take everything that's happened and learn from it. I accept that that's a chapter of my life that's finished," thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying. "And I've just got to be grateful that I've got so many good things going on. I have. And there's no children, you know?"
"Some people's lives fall apart. Of course, it's heartbreaking, but it's not anything remotely like it could have been and I'm very, very thankful for that," added the 27-year-old who is judge on the reality show "The X Factor".
The Girls Aloud star divorced Ashley, 29, at London's High Court last Friday - citing his "unreasonable behaviour".
