'Khichdi' Producer Accuses Karan Johar of Plagiarising his Idea

Mumbai, Sep 7 (PTI): Producer JD Majethia has accused Karan Johar of plagiarising his idea on a social networking website.

Apparently, Karan's idea of inviting television artists to watch 'We are family' last week was originally JD's idea for his upcoming comedy movie "Khichdi", JD Majethia said.

According to him, Karan has made the Parekh family from "Khichdi" cry without making them watch "We are family" as he took away his precious idea. Majethia had full plans of inviting all the television artists to specially come and watch "Khichdi", the movie which itself is a part of the television industry and is now making its move on to the big screen.

His social networking website's page reads, "The idea was to make our premiere a big event as TV industry apni beti Khichdi ki shaadi movie family main karke bida kar rahe hain."

JD states that even though Karan's movie made women weep while watching the film, he too intends to make everyone cry with "Khichdi", the movie. The interesting difference being that it will be tears of laughter. "Khichdi" will make everyone giggle so hard that the tears of laughter are bound to join the laugh riot, he said.
