Mangaluru: Pedestrian crossing road hit by bike killed

Mangaluru, Jul 8: Vijay Devadiga (42), a resident of Darethota in Haleangady was killed after a motorbike knocked him down on Tuesday July 6 at Pavanje main junction.

Vijay was working as tailor at Surathkal Katipalla. After the day's work, he was returning home. He arrived in a bus and was moving towards his house when a motorbike hit him. The tailor lost his life on the spot.

The bike rider too suffered grievous injuries. He stands admitted into a private hospital in the city.

Surathkal north traffic police station personnel have registered a case and taken up investigation.
