Mangalore, Sep 9: A teachers’ workshop will be conducted under the aegis of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), at DIET here on Monday September 13.
Kundapur Narayan Kharvi, president, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, will inaugurate the workshop at 10 am.
DIET principal Philomena Lobo will preside over the programme.
Roy Castelino, president, city-based Konkani Prachar Sanchalan, and secretary Dr Edward Nazareth will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Steven Quadros, Aloysius D’Souza, and Valerian Fernandes will be the resource persons.
Quadros and D’Souza will deliver a talk on prose in Konkani textbooks and poems, respectively. Fr Valerian Fernandes will deliver a talk on Konkani grammar.
