Mangalore: Students of AIMIT Win National, State-level Contests

Mangalore, Sep 10:  Fiona and Jyothsna, MS students of AIMIT, St Aloysius College (autonomous), here have topped the state-level case-study presentation contest. 


Their  case study on ‘Mobile computing and school children’ presented during the state level seminar has won first place and also case study on ‘Mobile computing and future trends’ has won first place at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, recently. 11 teams participated in the case-study competition.

Another team of students from AIMIT won the over-all championship in Gateways 2010, the National level IT fest organized by Christ University, Bangalore. 22 colleges participated in the fest.

Vikyath Jain and Elden D’Souza bagged first place in treasure hunt, Fiona Sequeira won first place in debate, Mohammad Fahad and Nikhil Ramesh won first place in web designing, Vikyath Jain, Nikhil Ramesh, Elden D’Souza ,Mohammad Fahad and Dinesh as a team won gaming event and in surprise event (Mad ads) Fiona Sequeira, Tripti, Nikhil Ramesh Jyothsna PJ and Mohammad Fahad bagged first place. In event collage Fiona, Tripti, Jyothsna, Sudeesh, Tony bagged second place, Mohammad Fahad and Nikhil Ramesh stood second in event animation.
