Mangaluru: One new black fungus case in district, two deaths

Mangaluru, Jul 15: On Wednesday July 14, one new black fungus infection case was recorded. At the same time, two persons died of this disease.

Black fungus was confirmed in one person from Haveri district. He has been admitted into a hospital in the city. With this, the number of active cases in the district rose to 28.

Out of the two who died, one was from Dakshina Kannada and the other from another district. With this, the number of deaths from this disease so far has touched 23.

In Udupi district, a person from another district was diagnosed with black fungus infection. With this, the number of active cases in that district rose to seven.
