Mangaluru, Jul 18: Air India officials allegedly stopped a woman of Mangaluru origin and her six-month-old baby from boarding a flight to Mangaluru at Kuwait International Airport for want of the baby's RTPCR test certificate.

Union minister Shobha Karandlaje intervened in the matter, and together with the Indian foreign ministry, was able to resolve the matter in 10 minutes and the mother and baby were later allowed to board.

Aditi Suresh Karopady, a native of the city, who lives with her husband in Kuwait was about to board a flight to Mangaluru from Kuwait airport on Saturday along with her six-month-old baby. Aditi had got RTPCR negative report with her. However, she did not get the same done for her baby as the travel agent in Kuwait as well as the Air India officials had reportedly told her that it was not required.

Aditi had arrived at the Kuwait airport at 3.30 pm in order to board the flight to Mangaluru along with her baby. When her turn for boarding came at 3.45 pm, she was not allowed to board by the airport officials, who told her that RTPCR test was required for the baby in order to board the flight. The official assured that they would delay the flight by half an hour if Aditi could get the clearance for the baby within the time frame.

A distressed Aditi started crying as she was shocked at the thought of not being able to travel. She immediately contacted NRI Mohandas Kamath who works in Kuwait and sought his help.

Mohandas Kamath relayed the matter immediately to the Twitter accounts of PM Modi, minister of state for foreign affairs Muralidharan and Mangaluru International airport authority. In addition, he also contacted Abhishek, PA of union minister for state Shobha Karandlaje. Shobha had instructed her PA to contact the union foreign ministry immediately and respond to the issue.

At 4.30 pm, both Aditi and her baby were welcomed by the staff of Air India flight. The flight left for Mangaluru at 5 pm. All this happened within 10 minutes flat. There was widespread appreciation for the presence of time exhibited by minister Shobha Karandlaje and for the prompt response by the union government.

I am relieved that the innocent baby was not subjected to the torture of the RT-PCR test. 1. Does anyone know where I can find the Indian govt. policy that states that certain age group air travellers are not to be RT-PCR tested? 2. If the policy clearly states that air travellers must have a RT-PCR test done max. of 72 hrs prior travel, then is the airline not correct in following the policy laid down by the Govt.? 3.Is it not true that the Prophet Govt.(pbuh) itself has had a “revelation” from Coda (the great dictator in the sky of CoV) that the 3rd wave shall next affect children? Has the Prophet Govt.(pbuh) been told by the angel Jilebi that small babies shall not be infected by SARS-CoV2? 4. To me, the reported incident simply means that SARS-CoV2 can be ordered not to infect those whom the appropriate official from the govt. exempts from RT-PCR test. Is that not wonderful? If only the Prophet Govt.(pbuh) had revealed this method earlier then several people, who died with or from COVID/lockdowns, could have been saved! 5. quote “If there is one covid infected passenger in a flight, he can infect more than 50% of the passengers in that contained area in 4-5 hours! unquote. A very valid observation that brings out 2 aspects:“viral load”& “exposure time to the live virus”. So what are these 2 aspects? 6. If SARS-CoV2 infections can be avoided by wearing nth nose masks and social distancing and hand sanitizing then how can the travellers get infected? Assuming that 50% are vaccinated and hence will not be infected ? 7. If the COVID vaccines can prevent CoV2 infections then why are even vaccinated people getting infected and some even dying from COVID? 8. Veeru has a flight at 10am on 19th July. He does the RTPCR test on 18th July at 10am and obtains a true negative report. Now that he has done the famous test: will SARS-CoV2 exempt him from infection between 18th 10am to 19th 10am, till he boards his flight? What if 5 mins before boarding he gets infected ?

If it was Kuwait airways or any foreign airlines asking for RTPCR kit than it's understood, But Indian air carrier Air India asking for negative report of 6 month child and the mother who i holding the child close to her is having a negative report.

Mr Rohan. I appreciate your comments. In India we have alternative way, Rules are in the book. In reality it is totally different. Think a mother with no help and don't know whom to contact. she will stay there crying or go back helpless. If you make rules. please one rule for everybody and it is not for break. But it is not for India.

In Shingur border in Punjab and Rajasthan camps are successfully treating people with love and hugs, Once fear is taken away and without adverse drug reactions from experimental administration of medicines and unnecessary oxygen and ventilators they get well instead of spending lakhs and coming out in body bags they are returning healthy without paying any single rupee. The Delta Variants has 95% asymptomatic which means healthy and pandemic hoax is exposed but sad to see major medias doesn't report it, most probably they are on payroll of vaccine industries.

Kary Mullins the inventor himself has ruled out the test kit to be used for covid, the manual states clearly "For Experimental Purpose Only, Not To Be Used to Test For Covid "- is it written by me or conspiracy theorists? Vaccine industries themselves have stated that vaccines doesn't prevent or protect against infections, but falsely claim they prevent hospitalization and deaths, we lost 750 fully jabbed doctors this year and more infected now in most vaccinated countries are vaccinated. TB has infection rate of 15% while corona has less than 5, which is pandemic then? Corona virus hasn't been isolated till today then for which virus vaccine is produced? Out of 120000 viruses which caused infections if tests for other viruses are conducted then they too might give positive results, should we believe people died due to covid or with covid? How come death rates world wide is same from 5 years in all countries? Why flu, pneumonia, cancer, heart attacks, kidney and liver failures, strokes deaths disappeared without any medicines? There won't be any potent vaccines against mutating viruses like corona, for this reason vaccinated people are getting infected again Again with recovery rate of 99.997% and mortality rate of 0.003% this cold like seasonal viral infection doesn't qualify to be called a pandemic and it doesn't require any lockdowns and authoritarian enforcement of any mandates unless corrupt colluding with vaccine industries to market their vaccines

Girishakka, though I counter you on everything ideologically, there always existed a respect for you. Just want to get a clarification from you... do you still go with what Dev says? He implies clearly the conspiracy theories.. in the beginning it was all that corona is a myth, later vaccines are fake things..and now doubts on PCR tests!!! If there is one covid infected passenger in a flight, he can infect more than 50% of the passengers in that contained area in 4-5 hours! Is it violation of passenger's rights? Same thing had happened few months back with me also in AUH airport, same Air India express that time my baby just completed one month after lot of begging air India express allowed us to travel Mangalore but after landing our famous Mangalore airport authority didn't allow us to go without baby's test, they did also that too my 33 days baby how cruel people😔

Who had issued the orders or protocols which are unscientific? Why a fake test that never was invented to test for covid is made compulsory? Why people should be put through these hardships based on fake medical science of asymptomatic (healthy) spreading the virus? First stop these pandemic hoax and end the dramas getting repeated since last year. Unless people get awakened and protest these unscientific orders which will get tougher in future with unproven jabs and vaccine passports, which will harm people's health and fundamental rights too. Good news is a protest march is organised in Delhi at 3 PM today against these atrocities on people, I wish all the best to all the awakened and future generations of awareness creators.

For a change Shobhakka in +ve news. She saved the day for Aditi, but the bigger elephant to address in the room is , the authorities should make it clear in writing whether PCR tests are needed for children below 4 or not so that such situation should not arise again causing distress to the passengers and other who may have to face flight delays because of such confusion. You cannot expect Shobha or anyone to be this free to assist all distressed passengers all over the world. AirIndia or respective airport authorities, should make rules straight simpler and in a language people can understand.
