Bon Jovi, Cooper Nominated for Hall of Fame


London, Sep 29 (IANS) Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper and Neil Diamond have landed nominations to be inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame of 2010.

Other nominees are Dr John and Donovan, Donna Summer, Tom Waits and rap acts LL Cool J and the Beastie Boys, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

The contenders for the 2010 Hall of Fame -- the industry's highest music honour -- were announced Tuesday. But the artists will have to wait until December to learn if they have been selected.

The event will take place in March in New York,

Last year, Bon Jovi expressed his desire to be honoured for his 26 years of singing.
