Davangere, Oct 6: A function had been organized on Tuesday October 5 at the government high school ground here on the occasion of the 61st birth day of Ashok Kheny, who has been facing various agitations launched and court cases filed, by former Prime Minister, H D Deve Gowda, relating to the execution of Bangalore-Mysore Corridor Project by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Project headed by him.

Speaking on the occasion, Pejawar Mutt Swamiji, Sri Vishweshsateertha, advised Kheny to claim only the minimum land required for executing the road project. “Please ensure that agricultural lands are not taken over excessively for commercial projects,” he advised him.
