Mangalore, Oct 7: Navratri Utsav at Prameshwar temple, Nityananda Ashram, Bunder here will begin from October 8 and conclude on October 18.

A new ‘kavacha’ (armour) will be offered to family deities Lord Mahaganapati and Goddess Annapoorneshwari Devi on the first day of Navratri festival. Durga Namaskara Puja and Chandika Havana will be held on October 12 and October 14. Sarvajanik Annasantharpane will be held on the ninth day of the festival.

In a release, G Hanumant Kamath and Rohit Kumar, managing trustees have requested the devotees to take part in the auspicious programmes.
