Bantwal: : Jamat-e-Islami Hind Holds Blood Donation Camp

Bantwal, Oct 11:  Jamat-e-Islami Hind, a social-service wing in vittal, here in association with KMC Blood bank Mangalore conducted a blood donation camp at Islamic Centre, Vittal on Sunday October 10.





M S Mohammed, KPCC member, Ramanath Vittal, president, Vittal Grama Panchayat, Venkatramana Bhat, principal, Vittala P U College, vittal, S A Rahman,health inspector, Bantwal and Mohammed Siddiq Jakribettu were the chief guests.
 
All the guests spoke on the importance of conducting blood donation camps.  Siddiq Jakribettu said that social service has great prominence in Islam.  Without responding to the problems of the other human beings one cannot receive God’s blessings, he explained with the support of Holy Quran and Hadith.
 
In all, 51 people donated their blood on the occasion.
