 Mangalore, Oct 12: A J Institute of Management (AJIM), a unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (LMET) organized the inauguration of 12th MBA batch & students' council for the year 2010-11 recently.

Dr Mustiary Begum, chairperson, department of business administration, Mangalore University was the chief guest.In her inaugural address she stressed upon the importance of Student Council activities for management institutions as it builds courage and competence of students to face the challenges in the industries. She also added that Student Council will be a platform for the MBA students to develop their over-all personality.

 The presidential address was delivered by K K Nayak, administrative Officer, LMET. Dr T Jayaprakash Rao, director of A J Institute of Management welcomed and introduced the guests. Robin Shinde, Student Council advisor administered the oath to the office bearers. 

K Deepak Rao, faculty, A J Institute of Management was the chief co-ordinator of the programme. Rohan and Nanditha, students of A J Institute of Management were the masters of ceremony. Raina, student of A J Institute of Management proposed the vote of thanks. The formal programme was followed by an entertainment event.
