Mangalore: Youth Electrocuted While Heating Water

Mangalore, Oct 13: A youth named Ashok (21), a native of Shantigodu in Puttur, was electrocuted in the city on Tuesday October 12.

Ashok, employed in a private firm in the city, was heating water for taking bath, by using submersible coil on Tuesday morning, when he accidentally came in contact with live wire. He died on the spot, the policemen said.

A case of unnatural death was registered in Urwa police station here. Investigation is on.

    Prevention is better than cure. The heating coil has killed many lives and request the authorities to ban this dangerous electrical heating equipment in the market immediately. Seller pls do not sell this life taking device.
