Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Oct 15: The anonymous threat call that was received by Nanavati, advocate for Mulla and Mulla Company, legal advisors of Air India, emanated from Kerala state, the policemen have found out. The caller reportedly posed life threat to the legal counsel in respect of settlement of air crash claims, it is learnt.

Sources said that in view of the threat perception, Nanavati has decided not to visit the city henceforth, for the disposal of claims put forth by affected families. As already reported, his proposed visit to the city for the above purpose on Tuesday was called off at the last moment.

The policemen, who have been investigating the issue, have already questioned a Kerala-based leader, who had organized a protest meeting in the city, relating to payment of compensation to the families of air crash victims.
