Karkala: JCI Belman celebrates 66th Kannada Rajyotsava

Karkala, Nov 2: JCI Belman celebrated 66th Kannada Rajyotsava at Belman gram panchayat auditorium on Monday November 1. JCI Belman president Veenesh Ameen chaired the celebrations.

Karkala SVT Pre University College retired professor Mitraprabha Hegde spoke about Kannada language, literature and culture on the occasion.

Senior author Dr Janardhan Bhat was presented JCI Belman literature award, poet and Yakshagana artiste Sooda Harish Shetty was presented JCI Belman culture award, young author, Udupi district Kannada Rajyotsava awardee Nandalike Hariprasad was presented JCI Belman Youth litterateur award and felicitated.

JCI zonal vice president Satyanarayan Bhat, unit secretary Dikshit Devadiga, programme director Maya Charana Rao, Yuva Jaycee president Vaishakh Hebbar and Jaycerette president Geeta Shenoy were on the dais.

JCI unit former president Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, treasurer Sandeep Kulal and director Rajesh Kulal introduced the felicities. Director Shwetha S Acharya introduced the guests.
