Mangaluru, Nov 7: Prizes worth Rs 50,000 were distributed to the winners of 'Navarangi Seere (Sari)' competition organised by Daijiworld 24x7 television channel under the sponsorship of Nuthan Cloth Center, Madanthyar, as part of Navaratri celebrations.

The prizes were distributed at Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd office in Bondel here.

Director (human resources) Ronald Nazareth and in-charge of telecasting department Geetha Bangera distributed cash and mementos to the winners and congratulated them.

Shivasanchi, Kolya won the first prize and was awarded Rs 15,000 cash, Jyothi Smrithi Maroli who came second was presented with Rs 10,000 and nine teams received consolation prizes of Rs 3,000 each.

Nuthan Cloth Center, Madanthiyar every year organises Navarangi Sere(sari) competition and hundreds of teams have participated in the competition.
