Kasargod, Nov 9: In an election for local bodies held all over the district on Monday November 8, journalist, Harsad Vorkady, was elected as the vice president of Manjeshwar block panchayat.

Vorkady has regularly been contributing news from the region to daijiworld.

Mumtaz Sameera was elected as the president of this panchayat. The election was held in the premises of Manjeshwar block panchayat.
