Mangalore, Nov 11: A legal awareness workshop for all the elected gram panchayat people’s representatives from Mangalore taluk, is being held at Town Halll here at 10 am on Saturday November 13. The workshop is being held under the aegis of Dakshina Kannada (DK) zilla panchayat (ZP) and the Legal Services Authority of the district.
High Court judge, Justice H N Nagamohan Das, will inaugurate the workshop. ZP president, K Santosh Kumar Bhandary, will preside. State information commissioner, Dr H N Krishna, rural development and panchayatraj department secretary, G S Narayanaswamy, district deputy commissioner, Subodh Yadav, city corporation commissioner, Dr K Vijayaprakash, Bar Association local unit president, S P Chengappa, Moodbidri Bar Association president, M S Kotian, and several other dignitaries will be participating in the workshop, said DK ZP chief executive officer, P Shivashankar.
